In February 2024, a procurement representative from Gural Premier Hotels & Resorts found Howvin through our website. The hotel had two outdoor furniture requirements: furnishing areas associated with a newly built large water park and replacing older beach loungers.

The timing was important. The pool needed to be in use before May, while the initial enquiry arrived during the Chinese New Year holiday.

Our salesperson continued communicating with the hotel and arranged the order during the holiday period. Once the factory resumed work after the break, production began.

The order included pool deck lounge chairs, aluminum pool furniture, and commercial patio umbrellas. Delivery was completed on time, and the furniture entered service in line with the hotel's pre-May operating requirement.

Two Outdoor Furniture Requirements, One Operating Deadline

The project combined a new leisure-area requirement with the renewal of an existing beach setting.

The newly built water park created a need for furniture around an expanded recreation environment. At the same time, older beach loungers needed to be replaced.

These requirements served different parts of the resort experience. Water activities need nearby places for guests to pause and rest between activities. Beach areas need reclining furniture for guests who want to spend time beside the sea.

The procurement therefore addressed both the supporting spaces around new facilities and an established outdoor area already used by guests.

Howvin's role was the supply of outdoor furniture and umbrellas. The water park and swimming facilities formed the context for the furniture project.

Responding During the Chinese New Year Holiday

The initial enquiry reached Howvin during the Chinese New Year holiday in February 2024. With the pool required to be in use before May, the procurement schedule needed attention from the start.

Our salesperson stayed in contact with the hotel and arranged the order during the break. This allowed the commercial work to move forward before the factory resumed production.

Once the holiday ended and factory operations restarted, production began.

The sequence is an important part of the case: communication and order arrangements continued during the holiday, while manufacturing followed the factory's reopening.

For the hotel, the practical outcome was that the furniture arrived on time and was available for the required operating period.

Pool Deck Lounge Chairs and Beach Lounger Replacement

Pool deck lounge chairs were a core part of the procurement, alongside the requirement to replace older beach loungers.

A place to recline gives guests a way to enjoy the poolside or beach beyond the time they spend in the water. It supports reading, conversation, resting, and breaks between activities.

This matters in a resort where guests use outdoor facilities at different paces. Some may spend much of their time swimming or enjoying water attractions, while others prefer to relax nearby.

Replacing older beach loungers also renewed a visible and frequently used part of the resort. The beach furniture refresh was handled within the same procurement project as the new leisure-area requirement.

Aluminum Pool Furniture

Aluminum pool furniture formed another part of the supply scope.

Furniture surrounding a pool contributes to how guests use the area. It provides places to sit, spend time together, and take a break without leaving the outdoor leisure setting.

In this project, the pool furniture complemented the loungers and umbrellas, extending the scope beyond reclining furniture alone.

For hotel procurement, these surrounding spaces deserve consideration alongside the water attractions themselves. They are where guests spend the intervals between activities and where different members of a group can remain together while choosing different ways to relax.

Commercial Patio Umbrellas

Commercial patio umbrellas added shade to the furniture package.

A shaded resting place offers an alternative to an exposed position, helping accommodate different preferences within the same outdoor environment.

For guests spending an extended period beside the water, this choice can be useful. Some may want time in the sun, while others prefer a shaded place for a break.

The umbrellas complemented the seating and lounging products. Their contribution depends on the selected canopy, the sun's position, and the final arrangement of furniture within the area.

How the Furniture Supports the Resort Guest Experience

Places to Rest Between Water Activities

A water park creates opportunities for activity, but the spaces between those activities are also part of a guest's day.

Lounge furniture supports the quieter intervals: resting after swimming, reading beside the pool, or taking a break before returning to the attractions.

For families and groups, this helps the outdoor setting accommodate different preferences. Guests who want to remain active and those who prefer to rest can use the same wider leisure environment.

The final layout remains important, including clear circulation and suitable placement around the facilities.

More Choice Between Sun and Shade

The combination of loungers and umbrellas supports different ways of spending time outdoors.

Guests can choose a reclining place and, where the arrangement provides it, a shaded alternative. This gives the poolside or beach setting more flexibility than furniture placed entirely in exposed positions.

Shade and seating work together: an umbrella provides coverage, while the furniture beneath or beside it provides somewhere to spend that time.

A Refreshed Beach Environment

Replacing older loungers addressed an existing part of the resort while the new water park expanded its leisure offering.

Beach furniture is a direct point of interaction with the property. Guests sit on it, recline on it, and spend part of their holiday using it.

Renewing these pieces therefore addresses a practical part of the guest experience, alongside the visual presentation of the beach setting.

Furniture Ready for the Required Operating Period

The clearest confirmed result was timing.

The hotel needed the pool facilities to be in use before May. Howvin delivered the order on time, and the supplied furniture was put into use.

Having the furniture available connected the procurement schedule with the hotel's readiness to welcome guests to those outdoor areas.

A Reference for Time-Sensitive Resort Procurement

The Gural Premier outdoor furniture project illustrates the importance of aligning procurement with a hotel's operating schedule.

It brought together a new leisure-area requirement, replacement of older beach loungers, and a clear deadline before May.

Howvin responded during the holiday period, moved into production after the factory reopened, and completed delivery on time.

For procurement teams planning a pool area, a water park addition, or a beach furniture refresh, the case provides a reference for Howvin's experience supporting an order with a defined operational deadline.

Schedules for future projects still need to be established according to the selected products, quantities, specifications, and delivery destination.
