How to clean your pergola

Modern aluminum pergolas are easy to maintain and equipped with an invisible drainage system to control the flow of rainwater and guide rainwater away from outdoor living space. Here's how you can make sure your outdoor building is as good as the new one.

Drainage ditch cleaning

When leaves fall in autumn, or you encounter heavy rain, you need to clean the drain to prevent it from blocking. Drains shall be cleaned at least every six months.

You can use a leaf blower to clean the drainage ditch and remove fallen leaves and other debris. After that, you need to clean any dirt or mold with water, soft brush and environmental cleaner in the hose.

Pressure cleaning

Over time, your pergola may need pressure cleaning to remove dirt from the surface. Pressure cleaning is usually more effective than garden hose.
